Why Boat Wiring Fails
Boats live in a harsh environment. Moisture, vibration, heat and years of add-on accessories wear down connections that were never meant to last forever. A lot of the electrical problems we see come from corroded terminals, undersized wire, loose grounds, or accessories spliced in without proper fusing. We repair with marine-grade wire and connectors, so the fix holds up on the water.
Don't Ignore Your Bilge Pump
A working bilge pump and float switch are basic safety equipment. If your pump runs constantly, doesn't run at all, or you're finding water in the bilge, have it checked before your next trip. We test the pump, switch, wiring and fuse, and look for the source of the water.
Battery and Charging Checks
If you're replacing batteries every season, something is wrong. We load-test batteries, check your engine's charging output, inspect battery switches and cables, and look for parasitic draws that drain batteries between trips.

Boat Electrical Repair FAQ
Why does my boat battery keep dying?
Common causes include an aging battery, a weak charging system on the engine, a parasitic draw from an accessory left powered, a faulty battery switch, or corroded cables. We test each one to find the real cause.
Can you add a battery charger or new accessories?
Yes. We can install onboard battery chargers and wire new accessories with proper marine-grade wire, fusing and connections.
My navigation lights don't work. Is that a big deal?
Yes. Navigation lights are required between sunset and sunrise and in restricted visibility, and they are a key safety item. Most nav light problems are corroded sockets, bad bulbs or broken wires, and they are usually a quick repair.
